Danylo Malov joins Lechia Gdańsk

Danylo Malov has become a new Lechia Gdańsk player. The left-back has signed a contract with the Green and Whites until 30 June 2031.

Born on 28 January 2007, the Ukrainian defender began his football journey in Dynamo Kyiv’s academy before continuing his development at Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia. During the second half of the 2025/26 season, he spent time on loan at Armenian side Gandzasar Kapan, where he gained his first experience in senior football.

Malov is also a Ukraine youth international. In the summer of 2026, he won the bronze medal at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship and was named in the Team of the Tournament.
