Artur Shakh joins Lechia Gdańsk

Artur Shakh has become a new Lechia Gdańsk player. The 21-year-old Ukrainian attacking midfielder joins the White and Greens from Karpaty Lviv on loan for the 2026/2027 season.

Shakh is a product of the Karpaty academy, which he joined in 2018. He made his first-team debut for the Lviv-based club at the age of 17 and later helped the team secure promotion to the Ukrainian Premier League. Following Karpaty’s return to the top flight, he also scored the team’s first goal of the season at the highest level of Ukrainian football.

Lechia’s new signing also has international experience. He has represented Ukraine at youth level and was part of the Ukrainian squad for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
