2nd Meeting – February 26, 2025

The second meeting of the Business Club, and the first one within the membership circle, took place on February 26, 2025, at the Gdansk Lechia stadium.

The agenda of the meeting included the following points:
1. Club objectives
2. Tools to achieve the intended goals
3. Welcome of new Members
4. Interview with Dariusz Michalczewski
5. Regulatory environment of artificial intelligence (AI)
6. Networking

We reminded participants of the pillars of the Business Club’s activities, which were discussed in detail during the January meeting. We also established an important tradition for all future meetings – officially welcoming new Members by presenting a gift (club merchandise) and asking them to share a few words about their company and industry.

On this day, we welcomed the first two Club Members: Tyszkiewicz Nieruchomosci and Polentex! It was a strong start to our activities, but above all, we thanked these companies for their trust, as it is always the most challenging to support a newly established initiative.

Following the introduction of the new member companies, there was an in-depth conversation with Dariusz Michalczewski, led by Marcin Czugan. Perhaps “interview” is too formal a term — just one question was asked, and Dariusz shared almost his entire career with strong business highlights that were particularly important to us. It was fantastic to listen to!

After the conversation, Marcin Czugan introduced participants to the intricacies of the new regulatory environment for artificial intelligence, namely the EU’s AI Act. The discussion included references to practical business applications of AI (with particular emphasis on finance) as well as the opportunities and risks associated with the development of this technology. The meeting concluded with informal conversations, which filled the networking part of the event. We also established our first business relationships.
