Tomáš Bobček scored two goals in a friendly match against Olimpia Elbląg, helping Lechia secure a 3–1 win. The Slovak striker for the Green and Whites has been consistently finding the net during the pre-season, which bodes well for the upcoming league start.
Brief assessment of his goal-scoring form:
I think the key is the work of the whole team. Obviously, I’m the player positioned highest up the pitch, and as a striker, my job is to finish the plays. I’m happy that I’ve been able to do that now, since the start of the year. Like I said.
On-field cooperation with teammates, including Tomasz Wójtowicz, who provided several assists to the Slovak:
Tomek gave me a lot of assists during this pre-season. I’ll be happy no matter who’s setting me up. Of course, most of the passes came from Tomek, and I’m satisfied with our cooperation. I hope it continues. We’ll see in the first match of the season who plays in that position, but whoever it is, I’ll try to make the most of the chances I get.
