Before the upcoming match against Legia, Rifet Kapic answered questions from journalists.

On the atmosphere in the team ahead of the upcoming match:

– The atmosphere is excellent. I think that the team is improving every day, and this break was really good for us to prepare again and have a positive mindset. The atmosphere is really great, the guys are working hard, and we can’t wait for tomorrow’s game.

On the condition of Legia Warszawa:

– I would say Legia is not in fantastic shape. They definitely have some problems and are under a lot of pressure. But it’s still a big club with high-quality players, which makes a difference. We must be 100% focused tomorrow. We are playing at home, and it makes me happy that many fans will be there. It gives us extra motivation, especially now, knowing that we have disappointed them in previous games. The team is ready, and the fans can expect that we will give more than 100%.

On his current form:

– I’d say I’m getting better, but I know I can still improve. All team must take responsibility for our jobs. Individual mistakes in games have put us in this situation and this is not an individual sport. I’m trying to do my job as best I can, but it’s clear something is wrong if we’re in this position in the table. As captain, I need to make more decisions, have more control of the ball, and play better. The table doesn’t lie, and that’s what matters. I believe in myself and in the team. This is just a tough period and we need this win, and then everything will be better.

On what needs to be done to win:

– Tomorrow, we have to play our game and score more goals than Legia. It’s going to be a hard game, but we’ve shown that we can play, like we did against Raków. We need to improve our mentality in the final minutes of matches. Every game is different, but I believe we’ve learned a lot and have already prepared our tactics for Legia. I hope we’ll all be happy tomorrow to take those 3 points.
