Coach John Carver answered questions from journalists ahead of the match against Radomiak Radom.
According to the coach, are three defeats in a row the end of the team’s good streak from the beginning of the year or simply a lack of luck?
We are constantly working on the development of the team. Recently we have been very focused on attack and creating as many goal-scoring opportunities as possible, but because of this we have neglected our defensive play. Indeed, I believe that in the last three matches we have lacked luck at times, such as the missed penalty kick in the match against Górnik.
On how another defeat in a row has affected team morale:
I think my team’s biggest problem is their age. They are very young footballers who are not yet used to the playing conditions that prevail in the Ekstraklasa. I am referring here to mental aspects, as well as tactical and physical ones. However, this does not mean that they are losing their enthusiasm for the game. We are now at a crucial point in the season, where we need to score as many points as possible.
