In the match of the 6th round of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa, we lost to Rakow Częstochowa 1:2.
The match started with a good situation for Rakov in the 2 minute of the meeting. Patryk Makuch received a good pass but shot point-blank. In the 8th minute Szymon Weirauch showed a confident intervention after Patryk Makuch’s shot. In the 25th minute, the White-Greens constructed a nice action down the left wing. Conrado played to Maksym Khlan and he played to Bohdan Viunnyk, but he failed to shoot. In the 40th minute Maksym Khlan showed off a beautiful dribble in Rakov’s penalty area, unfortunately his pass was blocked. In added time, Anton Tsarenko tried a shot from outside the penalty area, but the ball flew far from the goal. By the break, the scoreboard showed 0:0.
Lechia’s players started the second half with a good action down the left side of the pitch in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, Maksym Khlan released the ball too far and the Rakov players took the football. In the 50th minute, the White-Greens once again found themselves in front of a convenient opportunity to go in front. Camilo Mena dribbled a flat ball into the penalty area, but unfortunately no one was able to close the situation. In the 59th minute, Rifet Kapić took a fantastic shot from outside the penalty area and put our team in the lead. Szymon Weirauch showed a good intervention in the 78th minute after a good throw-in by Erick Otieno into the penalty area. In the 87th minute Patryk Makuch led to a draw in the match. Three minutes later, Rakov’s players went into the lead. The goal for the Częstochowa players was scored by Jonatan Braut Brunes. The match ended with our team losing 1:2.
