On Easter Monday, we will play another match in the 2024/25 season. As part of the 29th PKO BP Ekstraklasa round, we will face Legia in Warsaw. The meeting will start at 17:30.
In the previous match, we faced Stala Mielec at the Polsat Plus Arena. After an exciting end, the meeting ended with our team winning 3:2. Winning the last match allowed us to get out of the relegation zone. Now we face a difficult journey to Warsaw, where we will play against Legia. Our players are motivated to return to Gdańsk with another favourable result.
– We definitely want to set the team up with a good structure, and after our recent result, we’ll travel there with greater confidence.
When I look at Legia’s performance on Thursday and where they are in the league table, I believe they are in a false position. They are a very good team. We will need to give everything we have — everyone must play at their maximum – said coach John Carver at his pre-match press conference.
We got a good result and looked good on the pitch, both in the first and second half. This result has certainly improved the atmosphere in the changing room. We are well prepared physically, but also mentally – Maksym Khlan said at a press briefing.
