Tomorrow we will play another match at the Polsat Plus Arena in season 2024/25. We will face Cracovia as part of the 14th round of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa. The match will begin at 17:30.
In the previous match we drew with Piast Gliwice 3:3. The goals for our team were scored by Camilo Mena, Bohdan Viunnyk and Louis D’Arrigo. The clash with Cracovia is another opportunity to get three points at the Polsat Plus Arena and leave the relegation zone. Only by sticking together – on the pitch and in the stands – are we able to achieve what we want and successfully fight for higher places in the table.
– It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Cracovia (playing offensively) like this. My compliments to the staff, to the club’s authorities, that it looks like this, and not otherwise. I think Cracovia is very well balanced when it comes to the staff. We can argue about which team has more injuries, but the quality of football is visible on the pitch all the time. Cracovia is very well organised defensively. Very good and very effective in the actions in the third period, in offensive actions. At times Cracovia simplifies their game, they don’t present that ‘Cracovian’ ball. But I think this is beneficial not only for the result, but also for their fans, where it is really nice to watch Cracovia’s game. We will want to focus on defensive action. But we also know that, at least in the absence of Kamil Glik, this opponent’s defence will not be such a monolith as it was until recently, and we will also want to use our advantages in the offensive – said coach Szymon Grabowski at a pre-match press conference.
– For us it makes no difference who we play against, all teams in the Ekstraklasa play at the highest level. Cracovia are top of the table, but we will play against them as we would against any team – said Bohdan Viunnyk at a press briefing.
