In the first sparring match in Belek, we won against Serbia’s OFK Beograd 4:2.
The match did not start the White-Greens’ way, as already in the 8th minute the Serbs opened the score. In the 30th minute, Dominik Piła was close to scoring the equalising goal. Six minutes later, Michał Głogowski also faced a convenient situation to score a sliding goal for our team, but minimally missed the ball. By the break, the Serbs were leading 1:0.
We started the second half with five changes in the line-up. Rifet Kapić, Elias Olsson, Anton Tsarenko, Kacper Sezonienko and Michał Głogowski left the pitch. Bohdan Viunnyk, Tomasz Wójtowicz, Tomasz Neugebauer, Loup Diwan Gueho and Karl Wendt appeared on the pitch. In the 51st minute, Tomasz Neugebauer equalised the match. Three minutes later, the Serbs went into the lead again. Maksym Khlan left the pitch in the 55th minute and was replaced on the pitch by Louis D’Arrigo. Bohdan Viunnyk scored the equalising goal in the 56th minute. Our Ukrainian striker led the team into the lead in the 66th minute. Two minutes later, Dominik Piła and the scorer of two goals, Bohdan Viunnyk, left the playing area, their place on the pitch taken by Camilo Mena and Tomas Bobcek. The Slovakian scored a goal 15 minutes after appearing on the pitch. Seven minutes later, he again found himself in a convenient situation, but unfortunately hit the ball into the side netting. The sparring match ended with a 4:2 victory for the White-Greens.
The next sparring match will be played on 18 January against Ukraine’s Pollisya Zhytomyr.
