On March 27, 2025, Karolina Kawula joined Lechia Gdańsk, where she will serve as the club’s press officer, director of communications, and PR advisor to the management board. She will be responsible for the club’s internal and external communication strategy.

Karolina Kawula was born on June 1, 1989, in Kraków. She graduated from the Jagiellonian University with degrees in Media Management and Sports Management. Her football journey began in 2011 with Wisła Kraków, where she started as an intern. Over time, she steadily climbed the professional ladder — from communications specialist, to media manager, deputy press officer, and eventually press officer. In the past, she also spent a year co-running the press office at Lechia Gdańsk.

The new spokesperson brings extensive experience in public relations and crisis communication. She shares her expertise through various projects and speaking engagements, including at SportBiz, the PZPN Course for Sports Directors (where she led the media panel), and the 2023 European Games. Her collaboration with various brands has also broadened her business horizons. Currently, as a research assistant at the Institute of Journalism and International Relations at the University of the Commission of National Education in Kraków, she helps educate future specialists in the field.

„By becoming part of Lechia, I want to help build a strong brand based on clear and consistent communication, worthy of a club with an 80-year tradition. Returning to Gdańsk in this new role is an important step for me, with the ultimate goal of securing our place in the Ekstraklasa and fostering the club’s development beyond the pitch. I’m committed to implementing an information policy that responds to the needs of the community around the White and Greens” – said Karolina Kawula.
