On Sunday at 12:15 we will play another match within the 2024/25 season. In the 32nd round of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa we will take on Korona Kielce at the Polsat Plus Arena.
In the previous match we faced Cracovia in an away game, where we got a well-deserved 2:0 win. The goals for the White-Greens were scored by Maksym Khlan and Ivan Zhelizko. Now we want to keep our winning streak going and get our third win in a row! In the final phase of the season every point is of great importance, and a victory in the match against Korona Kielce will allow us to consolidate ourselves above the relegation zone. Our players are fully motivated and ready to fight for every inch of the pitch.
– It’s going to be a very tough match. We’re up against a team that’s in better form than we are. Since I arrived, Korona has been on the rise, and this is definitely the most difficult match we’ve had in recent times. They are in excellent form and have a lot of players who can cause us problems. We must do everything we can to win. – said coach John Carver at his pre-match press conference.
– Every match in the Ekstraklasa is demanding and you don’t know what to expect. Sometimes it is difficult to play against opponents from the bottom of the table. On the other hand, we are able to win matches against Lech or Jagiellonia Białystok. We have never underestimated any opponent. We are not going to do that now either. – said Szymon Weirauch at a press briefing.

Last season, Korona came close to relegation from the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa, finishing the games in 14th place with just one point ahead of the relegation zone.
