On May 15, 2025, Lechia Gdańsk fulfilled all outstanding financial obligations to the team and coaching staff, thereby meeting all the requirements set forth by the PZPN Club Licensing Appeal Committee. During today’s session, the Committee verified the submitted documents and payment confirmations. As a result, the Club has been granted the license to compete in the 2025/2026 PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa season.

The Polish Football Association has imposed extended financial and transfer supervision on the club, along with a disciplinary measure in the form of a five-point deduction.
