1st Meeting – January 22, 2025

The first meeting of the Lechia Gdansk Business Club, open to all interested participants, took place on January 22, 2025 – approximately one month after the official announcement of the Club’s creation.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the idea of establishing the Business Club, the goals we set in creating this initiative, and to outline the path we plan to follow. We answered all (sometimes challenging) questions and invited all attendees to join our collaboration.

The management team of the Business Club was also introduced: Marcin Czugan, who led the meeting, and Alexander Kalwitzki.

A very important aspect that we repeatedly emphasized is building the Business Club based on two fundamental pillars: expertise and networking. At every Club meeting, these two elements should intersect, and each meeting should always include two fixed components: a substantive lecture and a networking session, accompanied by the presence of a well-known personality from the world of sports or business. These two pillars will guide the path chosen in creating and running the Lechia Gdańsk Business Club.

For the first time, we presented the Business Club logo and its guiding slogan: “Through the world of business with the most beautiful Club in the world.” We also discussed the tools being developed for external communication of the Club — including a special (self-administered!) LinkedIn business profile, which can be found by searching for Lechia Gdansk Business Club on LinkedIn.

During the meeting, we welcomed the first honorary member of the Business Club — Dariusz Michalczewski, a legend of Polish boxing, who needs no introduction.

At the end, we sincerely thanked everyone who decided to attend the inaugural meeting and invited them to future meetings, held within the membership circle of the Lechia Gdansk Business Club.
