Already tomorrow, on Saturday, November 29th, we will once again play in front of our home crowd. This time, at the Polsat Plus Arena, we will face Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza in Matchday 17 of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa. Kick-off is at 14:45.
In the previous round, our players faced Legia in Warsaw. We were very close to securing all three points, but the match eventually ended in a 2–2 draw, with goals for our team scored by Ivan Zhelizko and Aleksandar Ćirković.
In our last home match, we hosted Widzew Łódź at the Polsat Plus Arena in Gdańsk. Lechia won 2–1, with both goals — which gave us the full set of points — scored by the indispensable Tomáš Bobček.
These matches showed that the Green and Whites can create dangerous opportunities both at home and away. Now the team approaches tomorrow’s match against Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza with full determination to earn more points and show their strength with the support of the fans.
Taking into account the way Termalica play, they tend to perform better away from home. This season they’ve managed to beat some big teams, so a tough match awaits us. Our approach to the game will be crucial, and we need to start it very well. We know that in the Ekstraklasa there are no easy matches, and there won’t be any. We expect a similar game from them. They have three strong central defenders and are very effective on set pieces. We’ve had plenty of time to prepare properly for this — said coach John Carver at the pre-match press conference.
