Sezonienko: The results were already good in autumn and we want to maintain them now
Ahead of the clash with Cracovia, Kacper Sezonienko also answered journalists’ questions. Here is a summary of the media briefing.
During Lechia’s last friendly match, Kacper Sezonienko suffered a head injury:
It’s much better now, the stitches are out. I hope it will heal by the match and I won’t have to play with a bandage. I went to the barber yesterday, but unfortunately he couldn’t hide the scar (laughs). The bandage was there so the wound wouldn’t reopen after a challenge with an opponent.
Lechia made a strong start to the second half of the season by beating Lech away:
We started the round very well, with a win at a difficult venue where we hadn’t won for a long time. However, the results were already good in autumn and now we want to maintain that.
What kind of match is he expecting against Cracovia:
They have several very good players we need to watch out for, but it was similar against Lech. We managed to neutralise their key players and we want to repeat that.
Against Lech, Kacper played as a number 10. Where does he feel best:
Playing as a “10” gives me more chances. I also had my opportunities against Lech. On the wing you often have to create situations for yourself, whereas as a “10” my teammates can create them for me. But I always look at it from the team’s perspective, not my own.
He was also asked about the weather conditions:
I thought it would be worse in Poznań. The temperature on the pitch didn’t bother us 0 we just played and didn’t pay attention to it. It would probably be harder if I were standing on the sidelines.
