Three goals and a win over Ruch to finish the training camp

Lechia Gdańsk defeated Ruch Chorzów 3:1 in a friendly match played in Proszowice. Michał Głogowski, Jakub Adkonis and Tomasz Neugebauer scored for the White and Greens.

Lechia made a very strong start to the game. Michał Głogowski opened the scoring in the 5th minute, finishing off a well-worked team move. Just a minute later, Jakub Adkonis found the net to make it 2:0. The White and Greens created several more chances in the opening stages, with Igor Bambecki hitting the post.

Ruch responded in the 23rd minute through Shuma Nagamatsu, and Lechia went into the break with a 2:1 lead.

After the break, coach Władysław Łupaszko made several changes to the team. In the 55th minute, the White and Greens restored their two-goal advantage. Tomasz Neugebauer produced a brilliant lob over the Ruch goalkeeper to make it 3:1 and complete the scoring.

The friendly against Ruch was Lechia’s only test match during the training camp in Wola Chorzelowska.
