Al Ain is not only an excellent training base, but also a city full of history, picturesque landscapes and unforgettable views. During our visit to the preparation camp, we would like to introduce you to these remarkable places and discover their unique charm together.
Al Jahili Fort – Guardian of History
Al Jahili Fort is one of Al Ain’s most important landmarks. It was built in the 19th century. It is now open to the public and offers an insight into the rich history of the region. The surroundings of the fort, with its lush vegetation, provide the perfect backdrop for walks and photographic souvenirs.
Al Ain Oasis – Green Heart of the Desert
At the heart of the city is the Al Ain Oasis – a true natural wonder in the desert. It is a vast area covered with thousands of date palms, where an ancient irrigation system still feeds the vegetation with life-giving waters. Walking through the shady alleyways, you can feel a sense of relief from the desert heat and travel back in time to discover the traditional methods of plant cultivation.
Jebel Hafeet – a view that will take your breath away
An integral part of a visit to Al Ain is Jebel Hafeet – the highest mountain in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, rising to over 1,200 metres. The winding road leading to the summit is considered one of the most beautiful mountain trails in the world. The summit offers breathtaking views of the city, the desert and the surrounding mountains. At sunrise or sunset, the panorama becomes even more magical.
Al Ain is a city that combines rich history with natural beauty. It is here that you can immerse yourself in the traditions of the United Arab Emirates, admire the monumental monuments and relax in the shade of the palm-fringed oases.
