Loup Diwan Gueho has been loaned back to Lechia Gdańsk from SC Bastia for the coming season.

The 20-year-old defender joined Lechia before the start of the spring round of last season and will remain with Lechia to play in the Ekstraklasa games.

– We want to continue the loan started in February. Gueho is a player who is very useful in many defensive settings. Despite his young age, he has shown his great ability to adapt to the team and our project. We decided to go on a one-year loan because we see potential in him to become an important defender and to have a big career. We secured an option to buy at the end of the season. We are sure that he will again be of great help to our team – said Paolo Urfer, President of Lechia Gdansk.
