Our previous match in the PKO Bank Polski competition was against Śląsk Wrocław. The match ended with our team winning 1:0. The meeting with Motor Lublin will be our next chance to get another three points in the current season.
– I realise the seriousness of the situation. We will try to improve the situation, in the case of our next two matches it will be tough. We are facing difficult opponents, but what we work out in the long run will count. Our main goal is to stay in the Ekstraklasa – said coach John Carver at his pre-match press conference.
– We are going to Lublin with the attitude to win. We have to have this attitude with every next match. It is known that we are missing points in the table and we must collect as many as possible – said Tomasz Neugebauer at a press briefing.

Last season, Motor were promoted to the top division after the play-offs. Currently, the footballers from Lublin occupy 7th place in the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa table. In the previous round, the Lublin players drew with Rakow Częstochowa 2:2. Motor’s footballers played four sparring matches during the preparatory period. They won against Wisła Płock 2:1 and Dinamo Batumi 2:1, drew with MTK Budapest 1:1 and lost to FK Jedinstvo Ub 1:2.

The last time we faced Motor Lublin was on 26 July 2024 at the Polsat Plus Arena. It was a match played as part of the 2nd round of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa. That meeting ended with a score of 2:0, with Piotr Cetnarowicz and Paweł Buzała scoring the goals for our team.
