In the match of the 23rd PKO BP Ekstraklasa round, we lost away to Raków 1:3.
The match did not start as our team had intended, as Raków opened the score in the 2nd minute of the match. The goal for the Częstochowa players was scored by Jonatan Brunes. Ten minutes later, after a shot by Tomas Bobck, the ball found its way into the hosts’ goal, but our striker found himself in a offside position earlier. In the 15th minute Raków increased the lead. The goal for the team from Częstochowa was again scored by Jonatan Brunes. In the 21st minute, after a pass from Rifet Kapić from a free kick, Bujar Pllana found himself in a convenient situation to score a goal for our team, but the Kosovan’s shot soared over the crossbar. Seventeen minutes later, Miłosz Kałahur passed into the penalty area to Bujar Pllana, but his head strike was off target. In the 43rd minute, Rifet Kapić got nicely past a defender and fired a shot that unfortunately went straight at Jonatan Brunes. By the break we were losing to Rakow 2:0.
We started the second half with one change in the line-up. Miłosz Kałahur left the pitch and was replaced on the turf by Tomasz Wójtowicz. In the 48th minute Maksym Khlan passed a good ball to Rifet Kapić, but unfortunately the Bosnian’s shot was off target. Three minutes later, the Lechists constructed a nice counter-attack, which was finished with a shot by Bohdan Viunnyk. The Rakow goalkeeper, however, showed a good intervention. In the same minute, Rifet Kapić struck from distance, but the shot flew past the left post of the goal guarded by Kacper Trelowski. In the 71st minute, Tomasz Wójtowicz scored a goal for our team. The Pole dealt well with Rakow’s defenders and fired a light, precise shot, after which the ball found its way into the Częstochowa goal. Four minutes later, Bujar Pllana scored an own goal, after which Raków led 3:1. In the 80th minute, Bohdan Viunnyk and Tomasz Neugebauer left the pitch. In their place, Anton Tsarenko and Louis D’Arrigo appeared on the pitch. A minute later, Maksym Khlan tried to surprise Kacper Trelowski with a strong shot from outside the penalty area, but the strike was off target. In the 89th minute Kacper Sezonienko changed Maksym Khlan. The match ended with our team losing 1:3.
