On Sunday 4 May 2025, we will play our next match of the 2024/25 season, facing Cracovia in the 31st PKO BP Ekstraklasa round. The match will start at 14:45.
After an important 3:1 win against Piast Gliwice, where goals were scored by Tomas Bobcek, Bohdan Viunnyk and Anton Tsarenko, our players are full of energy and ready for the next challenge. Now we face a trip to Kraków for a match against Cracovia. The team is motivated to come back with three points and take another step towards staying in the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa.
– Our away game itself was not that bad and we need to eliminate the mistakes. Cracovia are a very strong team, but I also know that they have three players suspended and that can help us. We have to try to play the side where the new players will be. Cracovia have players who are national representatives and we have to do everything to make their absence an advantage for us – said coach John Carver at his pre-match press conference.
– We are preparing for the match against Cracovia with full responsibility. Each of us is aware of how important these last few rounds are. We will do everything in our power to win and make the fans happy – Anton Tsarenko said ahead of the upcoming meeting.
RIVAL PROFILE: CRACOVIA
Last season Cracovia finished 13th in the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa table, with a two-point advantage over the relegation zone. In the current season, the Cracovians are looking much better – they are 6th in the league standings. In the last round they won a valuable away victory, beating Motor Lublin 1:0.
LAST MATCH AGAINST CRACOVIA
The last time we faced Cracovia was on 3 November 2024 at the Polsat Plus Arena, in a meeting of the 14th round of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa. The match ended in a 1:2 defeat for our team, with Bujar Pllana scoring an honourable hit for the White-Greens. In turn, the last match at Józefa Kałuza Street was played in season 2022/23, when we defeated Cracovia 1:0 after a Flavio Paixão goal.

REFEREES PANEL
The main referee for the match between Cracovia and Lechia Gdańsk, played as part of the 31st PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa round, will be Piotr Lasyk from Bytom. He has already officiated two matches involving the White-Greens this season. The first was an away match of the 12th round against Legia Warsaw, which ended in a 0:2 defeat for our team. The second was a 1:1 draw in a clash against Motor Lublin.
The head referee will be assisted at the lines by Sławomir Kowalewski and Damian Rokosz. Leszek Lewandowski will act as technical referee. Szymon Marciniak and Szymon Łężny will be responsible for the VAR system.
