On Monday evening, 11 August, we will take on Motor Lublin at Polsat Plus Arena. Our goal will be to secure our first three points of the 2025/26 season. The match will kick off at 7 p.m.
In our previous match, we drew with Cracovia, earning our first point of the season. Tomáš Bobček and Ivan Zhelizko scored the goals for our team. We hope to earn three points in our match against Motor.
Motor is a team that plays with great energy. They like to play football, they want to play football, and they’re well organised. Coach Stolarski works very well with them. It’s going to be a very tough match, but we need to start picking up points. The way we’re playing is good, but now we need to turn matches in our favour. I believe we will start getting points. Motor’s style of play is similar to what they played last season – and they didn’t have much reason to change, since they played well – said coach John Carver at his pre-match press conference.
It will be a tough match, definitely a battle. The last few games against Motor weren’t easy. We’re on a losing streak and we want to break it on Monday. . Looking at the last five matches, we lost four and drew one, including the friendly match. This could be motivation to stand up and not let Motor take any points from Gdańsk – said Kacper Sezonienko at the press briefing.
