Sad news has reached us of the death of former Lechia Gdańsk coach Zbigniew Kociołek, who died on Wednesday in Canada at the age of 79.

Zbigniew Kociołek worked intermittently at Lechia in various roles in the 1970s and 1980s, serving, among others, as first coach in the 1986/87 and 1987/88 seasons. He was also a member of the coaching staffs as first coach and assistant at several top league level clubs in Poland,
