Lechia Gdansk’s technical director Kevin Blackwell has signed a new contract that will last until June 30, 2027!
Kevin Blackwell joined Lechia in October 2023. His experience and knowledge helped our team win promotion to the PKO BP Ekstraklasa, and now the cooperation will continue at the highest football level in Poland for the better development of the sports division.
– Kevin, since we took over Lechia with Mada, has always been on my list of people who absolutely should be with me at the club to get Lechia and player development to where we want it to be. I’ve known Kevin for a long time and his contribution has been crucial for us not only on the field, but also off it,” says Lechia CEO Paolo Urfer.
– Last season showed that hard work and belief in success is the only way to achieve great things. It has been amazing to watch the development of this young team, and I am glad that our joint work with the staff and players will continue. The adventure in the Ekstraklasa promises to be equally, if not even more exciting. I am convinced that the best is yet to come,” stresses Kevin Blackwell.

Kevin Blackwell joined Lechia in October 2023. His experience and knowledge helped the staff to win our team promotion to the PKO BP Ekstraklasa and now the partnership will continue at the highest level of football in Poland for a better development of the football department.
– Kevin since we took over Lechia with Mada have been always on my list of people to have absolutely with me in the club in order to bring Lechia Football and player development where we want to go. I know Kevin since long and his contribution is essential for us not only on the pitch but aswel off the pitch,” says Paolo Urfer, President of the Board of Lechia Gdansk.
