The youth national team of Ukraine played a match against Serbia U-21 in a qualifying match for the 2025 European Championships. The match ended with a 1:0 win for the Serbs. Another appearance in the national colours was recorded by our midfielder Maksym Khlan.

Maksym appeared on the pitch in the 72nd minute, changing Artem Smolyakov. The match-deciding goal for the Serbs was scored by Milan Aleksić.

For the Ukrainian national team, it was their second defeat in the Euro 2025 qualifiers. Despite yesterday’s loss, the Ukrainians qualified from 2nd place for the European Championships.
