W ostatniej fazie reorganizacji struktury administracyjnej i zarządczej Lechii Gdańsk, Kevin Blackwell został mianowany nowym dyrektorem technicznym klubu.

„Nasi piłkarze i pracownicy będą korzystać z ogromnego doświadczenia Kevina zdobytego na najwyższym poziomie piłkarskim w Wielkiej Brytanii, co pomoże nam zrobić krok naprzód i osiągnąć nasze cele sportowe” – mówi Paolo Urfer, prezes zarządu Lechii Gdańsk.

Kevin Blackwell jest absolwentem kierunków sportowych na University of Warwick i University of Newcastle, posiada licencję UEFA Pro. Przez wiele lat pracował jako menedżer (Leeds United 2004-2006, Crystal Palace 2014-2015, Queens Park Rangers 2015) i asystent menedżera (Leeds United 2004, Crystal Palace 2014-2015, Cardif City 2016-2019, Middlesbrough 2020-2021) w wielu klubach Premier League i Championship. Ze skutkiem natychmiastowym dołącza do sztabu zarządzającego Lechii Gdańsk jako dyrektor techniczny.

KEVIN BLACKWELL’S APPOINTMENT AS THE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR FINALIZES THE REORGANIZATION OF LECHIA GDAŃSK.

In the last phase of the reorganization of the administrative and management structure of Lechia Gdańsk, Kevin Blackwell has been appointed as club’s new technical director.

Our players and staff will benefit from Kevin’s large experience gained at top level football in UK, which will help us to make a step forward and reach our sporting goals – says Paolo Urfer, President of the Board of Lechia Gdańsk.

Kevin Blackwell is a graduate of sports related programmes at University of Warwick and University of Newcastle, holds UEFA Pro Licence. For many years he has worked in various Premier League and Championship clubs, as team manager (Leeds United 2004-2006, Crystal Palace 2014-2015, Queens Park Rangers 2015,) and as assistant manager (Leeds United 2004, Crystal Palace 2014-2015, Cardif City 2016-2019, Middlesbrough 2020-2021). He joins the management staff of Lechia Gdańsk as a technical director with immediate effect.

I am very excited to be joining Lechia Gdansk as Technical Director, with the shared vision of achieving the sporting goals of MADA Global Fund for Income Opportunities.
